Magnetic Theory add Jon Gywther and Digital CD Pieter den Henten
New production company Magnetic Theory have added another big name director to their line up – Jon Gwyther. Gwyther (who was previously represented by production companies such as Plaza Films) has been working in different markets worldwide and looks forward to doing new and exciting work in Australia.
Executive Producer Ian Johnson says, “Jon’s work is world class and he has a fast and hands on approach that is fantastic for the new multi-platform marketing model. He has a wealth of experience in shooting for multiple platform and working with Agency TV and Digital departments.
Pieter den Henten has also come on board as Digital Creative Director to lead Magnetic Theory’s multiplatform work. Executive Producer Brad Smith says, “Production companies have turned 2.0 – you need to always be thinking about digital engagement. Pieter is fantastic at working with agencies to build products that engage. Pieter joins social media producer Jo Yates who founded the revolutionary website JobInsider. Smith says “Brands are now having conversations with consumers via several different forms of technology. Our team execute this across interactive, web and social media platforms.”
Magnetic Theory launched at the end of 2011 with a diverse and complementary stable of respected creatives already on their books, including Director Kriv Stenders and Design Directing duo Supervixen. They focus on delivering innovative creative outcomes for clients from concept to screen across TVC, digital engagement, branded, online and event content.
